A Little Bit About Me…

Hi, I’m Sharon Rose Hofer, artist, teacher, author, and child of God. I’ve been married to the love of my life Lonnie for over 40 years. As a pastor’s wife and homeschool mother, I’ve seen the way art opens up fresh, exciting conversations about our Creator. I’ve traveled all over the world connecting with audiences of homeschooling parents and traditional school educators.

I first started teaching art in my studio in Omaha, Nebraska over 30 years ago. It’s been an incredible blessing seeing hundreds of students grow in their love for art. During the summer I get to also travel overseas teaching art to students in Zambia in south-central Africa.

My art has also been featured in several national magazines such as the Contemporary Doll Magazine and the Artist’s Magazine. In the past, I’ve also sculpted for companies such as the Home Shopping Network and Artist Collectibles and further worked as a graphic artist. My primary passion today is to teach and encourage homeschooled students in the area of art through our award-winning “Creating a Masterpiece” online art curriculum.

Probably my favorite name to be called though is “Grammy” by my two adorable granddaughters. Speaking of which, I think I hear a tiny knock on my front door right now! Grammy’s coming!
